One last post before all of 2011’s sand runs through the hour-glass! Here are a few of the many rubber duckies that I have come across at the Falls of the Ohio over the years. I thought it would be a fun way to end the year. If you would like to see more ducky images…I’ve posted a new collection, “Kentucky Lucky Ducky Collection” which can be found in my Pages section. Have a Happy New Year and may 2012 be kind to all!

I love the wide variety of river ducks! Some of them seem so cheery and nearly new, and then there’s that that very blotchy, dirty rubber duck that has a really scary zombie-ish quality… *shudder!*
These so called “rubber ducks” do have some scary aspects to them. They are not what they seem and they are masters of using cuteness to disguise what they also are…plastic trash! Julia, have a great 2012!
Man, that is a lot of QUACKERS.
Happy New Year
Bernie
Should have seen the ones that got away! Happy New Year to you too!
HAPPY new year
2012 hopefully give 20012 less floating disposable duckies
Thank you Magda…may 2012 be a magical year for all.
Wow – what a ducky collection – lol … a very Happy New Year to you Al, wishing you continued creativity and many many good hours in 2012 🙂
d.
Continued creativity to you as well throughout the new year!
I love these pictures. My Grandkids won’t part with their duckies. They play with them every bath time. I imagine they’ll be saved till eternity.
Happy New Year to you!
Hi Leslie…Yes, rubber ducks are such a part of childhood memories. I’m also interested in the variety of forms available which is more than I would have initially given thought to! I hope you have a great year too and I look forward to seeing more paintings by you and your students.
