   Most of these shoes look in fairly good condition – like they will last forever (bad). I wonder how they end up in the river? do people dump pairs in or just lose one? My favorite is the slipper from the other page and the pink ballet type shoe. I really enjoy looking at these collections Al:)

   Thanks Lynda…There is an inexplicable quality to these things. I’m trying to recall if I have ever lost a shoe before? Have you?

   I did lose a shoe once. I left it behind in an hotel room – wasn’t in my case when I got home. it was a black silk platform shoe with an ankle strap.
   I wore a pair of green pointy stillettos once all night. When I came to take them off, I notice that one was a sling back and other wasn’t 😀 both identical colour!
